A GREENER REFILL fully stands behind our products. In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, we will gladly replace or refund your purchase for up to 90 days (note: shipping charges are not refundable).
Warranties/Exchanges/Refund Policies
Unopened Merchandise
- Unopened merchandise may be returned up to 90 days for a full refund or credit for future purchase (shipping charges are not refundable).
- Merchandise must be returned to us in its original, undamaged condition, accompanied by an RMA#.
- Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. It is recommended to use a carrier with tracking (i.e. UPS or US mail with signature confirmation).
- Once merchandise is received, A Greener Refill will inspect to ensure it is in re-sellable condition and process refund accordingly.
Exchanges
If you ordered the wrong product or have upgraded to a new printer which does not use the same cartridges you may exchange, up to 90 days from original order, your existing product for the new product (if new product is more expensive you will be charged for the difference).
Packaging Errors
If A Greener Refill incorrectly shipped you the wrong product, please contact as immediately so we can correct the issue with minimal delay.
RMA Process
- Follow link to the online RMA request form or call 1 (866) 376-6121 to speak to one of our customer representatives.
- Upon receipt of the RMA request applicable instructions will be provided making sure you understand the process, timelines and your responsibilities.
- All returns require a RMA #. A Greener Refill will not be able to process any refunds without an RMA #, so please do not send any product back to A Greener Refill without following the appropriate process.
- Refunds or exchanges will be issued within 14 days of receipt and inspection of the merchandise in the same form from which you paid.
- A Greener Refill is not responsible for lost or un-received products.
- For those situations where we provide you with a shipping label, the shipping label and RMA# are both valid for 14 days from issuance. We highly recommend that you return your merchandise quickly as returns received after 14 days will not be accepted.
- If you received free shipping with your order, the actual shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
Warranty/Defective Product
In the rare case that one of our products malfunctions, we will gladly replace the product. Many times there are a few troubleshooting steps which can correct the problem without having to return the product. Please follow the appropriate steps and if there is still an issue proceed with the RMA process below.
A Greener Refill warrants our products are free of defect in both workmanship and materials.
A Greener Refill also warrants that, under normal use, our cartridges will not cause damage, abnormal wear or deterioration to any compatible equipment. If a defect in an A Greener Refill cartridge causes the customer’s equipment to fail, A Greener Refill will reimburse the full amount for any reasonable service and repair of the equipment. To ensure this warranty remains valid, please contact A Greener Refill prior to any repair work. A Greener Refill requires satisfactory evidence that the equipment failure was due to a defect in A Greener Refill's cartridge and must include a written statement on the service company's letterhead, dated and signed by the company's field service representative.
- Ink Remanufactured Cartridges - 180 day warranty
- Toner Remanufactured Cartridges - 365 day warranty
- Product must be at least 50% full to qualify for a replacement/refund (Why is this a requirement? Depressing, but true, our industry has experience with the unscrupulous customer using most of the ink and then requesting a full refund or replacement).
- The problem cartridge must be received and inspected by A Greener Refill prior to any refund or replacement. If during inspection the cartridge is found to have less than 50% ink/toner remaining or has been altered, whether intentional or not, or tampered with in any way, the warranty will be considered void and A GREENER REFILL will not be able to provide a refund or replacement.
- A Greener Refill’s liability hereunder shall be limited to replacement or reimbursement as provided above. This warranty is exclusive, and in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied.

Replacement Product
- A Greener Refill will email you a prepaid postage label for returning the defective product. Defective product must be at least 50% full to qualify for a replacement. In addition, the product must be received within 14 days to avoid having to initiate the RMA process again.
- Upon receipt of the defective product, A Greener Refill will inspect the cartridge to confirm problem and weight.
- Once the problem is validated, A Greener Refill will send you a replacement product.
If you need an immediate replacement A Greener Refill has an option to immediately send you a replacement product prior to receiving the defective product. This option requires you to pay upfront for the replacement cartridge. You will be refunded the charge once the defective product is received and validated as defective.
Refunds
- A Greener Refill will email you a prepaid postage label for returning the defective product. Defective product must be at least 50% full to qualify for a replacement. In addition, the product must be received within 14 days to avoid having to initiate the RMA process again.
- Upon receipt of the defective product, A Greener Refill will inspect the cartridge to confirm problem and weight.
- Once the problem is validated, A Greener Refill will process your refund. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days.
If utilizing the efficient online RMA request form please complete all requested fields to prevent any delays in processing your request. A Greener Refill will respond within one business day with RMA # and associated instructions.
Please ensure you receive an RMA # prior to returning any products, as we will not be able to process a refund without an RMA #.
Shipping
To stay consistent with A Greener Refill’s high quality standards, all orders are shipped using FedEx.
Shipping options and charges will be clearly identified during your check out process. Every order will receive an email with the tracking number confirmation and link to FedEx.com shipment tracking page.
At this point A Greener Refill is only accepting orders within the U.S. Most orders received by 5pm CT will be shipped out the same day. Orders received after 6pm CT will be shipped out the following business day.
Standard ground shipment usually arrive within 3 - 5 days. Once FedEx takes receipt of the delivery A Greener Refill is not responsible for any delays. If your order has not arrived within 7 business days you can contact FedEx directly (1.800.Go.Fedex - www.FedEx.com). You may also contact A Greener Refill and we will assist you in finding out what has happened to your shipment.
Any offers of Free Shipping (only available to locations within the contiguous US) will ship Standard Ground. Expedited shipping is always an option with an additional cost to the customer.
FedEx is responsible for damaged shipments. Upon receipt of your order please immediately inspect the package for damage before the driver leaves your premise. If there is visual damage, either tell him/her you will not accept the order or contact FedEx to file a damaged shipment claim. If the delivery was left at your door or neighbor you have a 5 day grace period to file your claim.
